Etanól, etýlalkóhól eða vínandi er lífrænt efnasamband (alkóhól) táknað sem C2H5OH. Það er eldfimt, litarlaust og eitrað. Etanól er einkum notað í áfenga drykki, sem eldsneyti á bíla og sprengihreyfla. Úr etanóli er einnig unnið edik, etýlamín og önnur efni.
